WE (the 4270 and I) need YOUR help. The front speaker connectors do not produce sound (located in the back of the unit)...in both the main and remote buttons...UNLESS it is placed in the pre-amp RCA plug hole... then it will produce the TV sound...it's probably ME...I am just old and have forgotten to hook it up properly...but it does need some lights for the dial...more info below...

I purchased this receiver in 1972, I believe. Although it has been hooked up, it has a few lights burned out above the dial and on the MAIN speaker switch button located next to the POWER button, there is no sound coming from the FRONT speaker connectors (only the REAR speaker connectors in the back of the unit produce SOUND) on both the MAIN and REMOTE speaker connectors in the back of the unit. The front speaker connectors do work IF I put it in the pre-amp and hook it to the TV..HELP!

If you have some knowledge about this antique (either the receiver or ME!), contact sunnyseadoo@hotmail.com THANKS!

Mike
