Dec 26, 2001 7:17 PM | | I have a brand new B&W ASW4000 subwoofer and a Lexicon DC2 preamp. I was jazzed to hook it up and when I did, I tend to get a "clicking sound" or the sound when you turn on and off a light switch. This sound occurs when there's base in a movie and when there isn't. The sound is coming from the subwoofer. I had the power supply/400W amp replaced by the dealer but it keeps making the sound. I have a lot of power going through the AC outlets, do you think it's because I don't have a line conditioner or do you think I would need a dedicated line going to that room?
