I have to decide in a week if the outlaw 950 worth bring home, or should spend more money for another kind of preamp.THANKS HELP!
I think trying to make a decision for preamp has been harder than picking out a receiver.

It has an unimpressive tuner, if that matters to you.

When I consider its performance and price, and then consider what is available in receivers, I am not surprised that most people stick with receivers. I have always wanted to go with separates (my first system was separates), but I have always found that without a huge budget, I could get better performance for my money if I stick with receivers. If money is no object, I would consider going with some Sunfire equipment; their current preamp/tuner/processor costs about 4 times the cost of the Outlaw (there are many brands to consider if money is no object).
