| Fried?! amp question... | piece-it pete Aug 20, 2002 8:18 AM | | Hello everyone!
I recently acquired a H/K 630 receiver. Its sound put my sony a/v to shame!!
Anyway, when I 1st hooked it up it worked fine, however about an hour later, when I turned it on again, the left channel was real quiet.
Some screws are missing on the bottom panel, leading me to believe this isn't a new problem.
Is there anything I can check or look for? Should I scrap it? Any ideas?

If these items are out of value the same thing will keep happening...are there not any fuses on the outputs?? if there are make sure they are correct value as they should have blown first!!
Don't scrap it, if you are able to fix it!! |

Unfortunately I don't have the slightest idea what you're saying, however I am handy & willing to learn. I'll check the fuses tonight.
Is there a link or something where I could learn what I need?
I sure don't want to scrap it, it's got incredible sound!
T'anks again!
