I second Abex, Coda is in a different league than NAD. I've owned both, the NAD is a very good unit in it's class (B&K, Rotel, Adcom, etc). The Coda amp is in the Classe, Threshold, Rowland class. You really can't compare them. The Coda is warmer, fuller, with better bass. It also has a larger soundstage. Get the Coda.
I just bought a Continuum yesterday - go with the CODA!!!kram

The used but near-mint Continuum Stage amp I just bought kicks ass! They have some killer closeouts going on their website and there's been some used Coda bargains lately over on Audiogon. Coda makes amps for Legacy and Innersound - darn good stuff!

I just bought the Stage amp from a guy who is now selling a Stage MkII (seller Mkwrd is a good guy). I saw the StageII he's selling and it is really beautiful for $800 (blue lit-up logo a'la Odyssey, and blue LED - 300wpc 8 ohm, double into 4 ohm... lots of amp for the money).

I think it's a different league from NAD/Rotel. But I know audiophiles are FOS too and always think their purchases are good ones... so take with a grain of salt.

But I think you can get your Coda Integrated with a clear conscience that you're not getting a worse product than NAD anyway.

Hi ,
Just ordered my Amplifier and the Speakers.
The speakers are the Innersound (ESLs) Isis. Getting them at an amazing deal as these will be the first ones to India.
The Amplifier of course is the Coda amp the Continuum Integrated. Also got a good deal on the innersound interconnects and speaker wiring. So looking forward to having my first Audio equipment.

Its tough to make a decision without demo-ing the equipment. These sites really do help. Not helping in making up ones mind , but giving that final push.

The other choice was the PSB golds speakers and the NAD C370 -C270 combo.

Thank you so much for all the help i have got from this site.

Well you won't get a better endorsement than when a speaker manf. sells an amplifier they believe to be the best match for their line of speaker's!I wish other manf. would list the amps they feel has the best synergy with their particular driver's and crossover's.

It might be intresting to note that the designer of CODA Amps worked or was one of the founder's of Threshold of whom Nellie Pass was the most prominent!I was told long ago that Threshold amps were the way to go (Pass designed ones). The more I explore the art of amp design read interviews from the the designer's the more I believe that they are the way to go ,which includes CODA!

LAMM(out of my $$ range) and LIANO are other's I wish I had $$ to throw into!

Happy listening!
