I hope i don't confused you but, here it goes.I have two amps at 125 watts x 5 each, so can I take the first amp and put two 125 togather that gives 250 for right speaker and do the next pair for left speaker and one left over for R side at 125watt. Now the second amp pair of 125 give me 250 for center, now their are 125 R side 125 L rears 125 R rear.THANKS

If your amps are not designed to be bridged, do not do what you are suggesting, unless you want to damage your amps. If your amps have the capability to be bridged, there will usally be a toggle switch on the back indicating bridged mono, or unbridged stereo. You might want to check into your owners manual too.

When bridging amps, you would use the the + lead from one channel and the - lead from another channel, feeding into 1 speaker. However, in order for this to work the amp's toggle switch must be enabled in the bridge position. By activating the switch, it tells your amp that you are effectively using 2 channels of the amp to produce a combined power output onto 1 channel of your speakers.

Now biamping, thats an entirely different animal, but it is possible if your speakers have dual sets of binding posts. However, that option works best only if you have an adjustable external crossover network for your speakers, or if there is independent gain controls for each channel on your amp, in order to adjust the level.

Check into your speakers, max power rating. You wouldn't want to blow your tweeters, by overpowering them. But even with biamping, your still only sending out 125 watts. Per speaker, it would be 125 watts to the tweeters with one channel on your amp, and 125 watts to your woofers with a different channel on your amp, depending on what frequency your crossover point is set.
