|   Channel noise....Help NEeded | Regulator
Oct 16, 2003 7:02 PM | | I have LOTS of loud noise/interference on my RearLeft channel. This noise is only heard when using my DVD player in the 5.1 channel analog output for DVD-Audio. The noise is heard if the DVD is playing, stopped, or paused.
If I switch to a difference source that uses the same channels like television, then I DO NOT hear the noise. If I use the DVD player for DVD-Video so the sound passes through the digital coaxial connection then I DO NOT hear the noise.
I have tried changing the speaker wire and have tried seating and reseating the 5.1 cables running between the DVD player and the receiver. I have also tried changing speakers. Any thoughts anyone? Is the receiver or DVD player to blame? Thanks!
My receiver is a Denon AVR-2802 and the DVD player is a JVC. |
