Any advise on a used amp ranging from 400-600 dollars, would be greatly appreciated! Also, right now I have a 5-channel receiver rated at 110 watts per channel, my speakers are rated to handle 30-500 watts-How much wattage do I need?

Are you looking for a five channel amp? Or just two channel? If you are looking for 5 channel, what is the power handling on your other speakers? Used electronics aren't the best idea, but you might want to cheeck out e-bay if you're sure you want to take the chance with used electronics. It could end up being a waste of money.

I haven't personally had any bad experiences. But used is well. Used! Speakers are okay. But electronics are delicate things. So you never know what you could be buying. It might give out on you the next day. Electronics aren't the best things to buy used. You might wanna save your money to buy a new one. But if your all for used. Check e-bay.
