"What's going to leave a mark? Don't tell me you doubted my veracity, just like moderator Adam? That hurts!"

I replied at the original post before I read this one. I never implied or stated that some measureable parameters would not show variance from one cable to another, but the matter that is of relevance is whether such variances impart an altered audio output of sufficient magnitude to exceed JNDs and thus would be audible. Remember too that music will mask some differences that otherwise would be audible with test tones. The ONLY way to make this determination with reliability is with DBT. If I recall correctly Jon has measured a number of audio interconnects, and if memory is serving me well, he found only very small differences in FR, something on the order of 0.1dB or less. Jon can clarify if I have mis-stated his findings, which would be unintentional, if so.

Actually a whole bunch, or, perceptual coding would not work so well:-)

If it's for Eyespy only, why don't you just e-mail it to him? He's not hiding.
