speaker cables from sound card to a/v recievercaleb

im looking for a good, shielded cable that i can use to connect my soundblaster live video card to my a/v reciever. they're already connected, but unfortunately, the length of the cable is 15-20 feet long, and runs past several power bars/outlets, which has introduced a distinguishable HISSSS from my speakers. Does anyone have any ideas on a good quality cable, or even a way to shield my existing cable from all the interference?

thanks

Any interference from your power outlets would be generating predominantly HUM , not HISSS. It's possible the soundcard output is at too high a level for the inputs of your a/v receiver - could you use a less sensitive input?
