Idea's for DIY Silver Speaker CablesMwalsdor@cscc.edu

I'm interested in hearing from those that have had any success with DIY silver speaker cables, especially with SET (single-ended triode) amps. I'm currently using Silverline bi-wire 12awg copper cables, but seeing that I made a change from a PP triode amp to a DHT/SET amp I'm looking into cabling that may be more effective with that topology in my application. I've heard that many SET/Horn users perfer very thin silver speaker cables; 22-30awg. Some guys have even had success with the RatShack magnetic 26awg. I'm considering either the solid silver HomeGrownAudio 26awg or their braided SuperSilver, which is three strands of 22awg encapulated in teflon. Either of these would be much cheaper than what I'm currently using. I understand that systems synergize to certain diameters - 22/26/30 - and that one needs to experiment to get the absolute best match, but with millowatt SET amps small gauge wire works best. If anyone has had success with a certain bulk wire, wind pattern or gauge let me know. Thanks in advance & Happy Thanksgiving EVERYONE!

...there is any ejaculate from the thingy. If there is, then its one gender. If not, then another. Does that make sense? BTW, I don't see myself as a pathetic loser with no job living off my parents.

I thought that winding them according to the topology of Afghanistan might get a direct wire to Bin Laden so I could collect the cool 25 million and buy some of your friend's cables. What happened? I thought you were using his latest whiz bangs. Did the rest of the pins break off? Actually, balling up the strands in one big tangle seemed to work just as well. Sounds like you're getting us ready to hear about products from some "new friends" of yours.

I knew a girl once who was 22/26/30. What a mess. No synergy there.

for raw materials info.

This is an IC recipe, but the silver wires are an option for use as small gauge speaker cables.
