| Posting speaker cable on the wall | ScottS Nov 27, 2001 9:45 AM | | Hi,
I was debating about using a glue gun to adhere speaker cables to the top part of the wall. A glue gun would take a couple of seconds to adhere a speaker cable and wouldn't put pock marks on the wall. What do you guys think about using a glue gun? Any other suggestions to adhere a speaker wire on the wall without it looking real bad?
Thanks,

How about hiding it behind some crown moulding?

Thanks for responding to my post. The speaker wire I would use is 16 gauge wire. I would run the wire on the bottom of the crown moulding.
Have you ever heard of this being done before?
Thanks,

Have you tried to hold the wire in place to see how it would look? Staple it to the molding? Orif this is for a rear speaker, if you can, run it along the bottom then directly up to the speaker and maybe cover it with a matching molding to the crown, or in-wall.
Don;t think your approach will be pleasing to look at. |
