Cable signal amphgainer

Just bought a sony 40" hdtv but afraid my cable is going to screw up the picture. I cant get satilite, so i was thinking some type of signal amp for cable. Can you guys suggest a good one?

How so? Most cable has enough signal to give a good picture. An amp at your end would amplify any noise and artifacts as well.

I think you're jumping the gun here. If your cable company has a bad signal, get them to fix it. You're paying good money for a good signal, not a bad one.

Thanks i will wait and see how it looks. And if theres a problem ill tell them to do something
