I used to post under another moniker. People would get really angry one way or the other. You'd think that they were discussing a life and death situation. You hardly get much of than any more. I don't know if they just lost interest or went to cable asylum's website. Ah for the good old days. |

I just upgraded from a quasi-DSL 144k service to true DSL broadband, so that is not an issue for me. However, I know of at least one person who used to post here regularly and made a significant contribution to this forum who seldom visits here primarily because of the slow load problem.
Ideally, this should be a better place to discuss cables than the Cable Asylum because the anti-DBT rule doesn't apply here. In the past many of my fellow yeasayers were driven away because the naysayers would never stop hounding them. However, more recently, I believe that the level of civility has increased noticeably here while at the same time it has dropped percipitiously at the Cable Asylum. |
