I took the tab off of the DVD Player and tried to put the optical cable in. Didn't seem to want to fit. I didn't want to force it. I tried matching up the shapes. The box the cable came in said the rubber piece around the connection is retractable for a better fit?!?!?!?!!?

Jul 2, 2002 8:41 AM | | Unless you have the orientation wrong, they should fit. The connector has sort of a round bottom with sort of a flat top, so it can only go in one way.
Also, I am sure you did - but did you remove the little black thing-a-ma-bob that pritects the fiber on the end of the cable? |
