Which is the best speaker connector,Bananas or What?bryanpoirier

I would like to know which type of connector would be the best for my speaker cable. I can choose from Banana, spade, angled spade and flex tip.
Is there an article on the matter?

A matter of preference and what you will be doing. If you just connect and forget, bare wire or spades is good. If you unplug frequently, banana is very convenient.

See:

last half of page.

Properly crimped spades.

Bare wires, either stranded or solid, just can not be tightened down enough, or stay tight. Stranded cuts before it's tight enough, solid comes loose over time.

Spades would be best if you are going to hook things up and forget them. If you are going to be plugging and unplugging things all the time, you'll want to consider bannanas.

I vote for bare wire unless you are going to repeatedly connect and disconnect. Just be careful that you don't have any stay strands sticking out that can touch something they shouldn't and cause a short.
