High-end cables for small (satellite)hometheatreGaron

I have a small hometheatre (Harman Kardon 1000 dollar receiver, Harman Kardon 500 dollar dvd player, KEF KHT2005.2 1200 dollar satellite-speaker system) in my small room. My problem is choosing the speaker cable. My mind is set on Monster Cable but what model. I originally wanted the MCX-2s but the text (budget, affordable) ruined the appeal. Then there's the Z2 reference cable or the M1.2s cable. But is it wise to buy thick-ass cables for satellite-speakers. Does anyone have experiences using high-end thick cables together with satellites? I'd really appreciate replies containing experience with Monster Cable.

Forget Monster unless you can buy it at around $.30-.50/ft.
Buy 12ga-16ga at Home Depot, Target, WalMart, local electronics store, on the net at partsexpress.com
