I am not getting any picture/ sound after connecting the component video cord to the 'component video output' on my DVD player(Sony DVP-NS530) to the 'component video DVD input' on my Receiver (Sony-STR-DE595). I am also using a coaxial digital cord from 'digital out' on the DVD to 'digital in' on the Receiver.
Notwithstanding that these connections appear correct according to the Sony handbooks and instructions from the store owner (complete system with cords were purchased new last Sunday), would greatly appreciate your advice.
