saw rf stoppers advertised on site -do they really work-? if so should they put on electrical devices that produce rf or on video cables etc to protect from rf -thoughts on this would be appreciated

Radio frequencies are on the order of 100 Mhz, Video frequencies are up to 35 MHz for HDTV. Radio frequencies can affect the picture quality. RF stoppers stop these frequencies from affecting the video signal as it enters your TV. However, for half the cost of RF stoppers you can purchase a shielded video cable that blocks out RF frequencies.
