Nurse BettyJack-O

Rented the DVD of Nurse Betty last night. I would have to say this was, if not the worst, one of the worst movies I have ever seen. We found the movie unwatchable. How in the world could an actor of Morgan Freeman's stature be involved in crap like this? (I'm going to forgive Chris Rock since he probably signed on once he saw Morgan Freeman in the cast, How does a guy like Greg Kinnear, who has the talent and range of a doorknob keep getting roles? And am I the only one who sees Renee Zellweger and says "so what"? (With the exception of Empire records). Man, that's 116 minutes of my life that I will never get back!
Haven't seen the flick.Dick Hertz

I understand Kinnear was pretty good in the title role though.
Yup...that one sucked.cableguy

We rented it simply because my wife is a nurse and she thought she HAD to see it. Let this be a lesson to you- simply because the title character has the same job as you doesn't make it a good movie. Case in point- "The Cableguy". Nuff said.

Wow, maybe we saw a different Nurse Betty because my wife and I loved it. But then again we've been told we have warped taste in movies. I thought the story was clever and we laughed at the Chris Rock and Morgan Freeman characters. I thought Renee Zellweger played the role well (I think she won some awards for the performance). An enjoyable if somewhat demented movie. Oh well, different strokes for different folks.
