| Song with lots of bassssssssss | RBo Apr 23, 2001 6:58 PM | | Hi, I'm in the process of testing a subwoofer and I'd like to know songs (CD or DVD) which have a lot of deep bass. I'm not talking about dance or boom-boom music. A surprise I had when I tested the subwoofer was on the Gladiator soundtrack. Whitout sub the sound is ok, but with a sub some part go really down with bass and we sense it. I'd like to buy more music which can do that. Like jazz, blues, classical or better: soundtracks. Any tips? |

Allman Bros has three drummers who do drum solo on Elizabeth Reed. Bassist with Satriani is excellent, especially on 3rd song. With my system, you think you are AT the show!! Go DTS where you can-Henley,Eagles,Orbison. |

| Here's two albums. | Cosmo Apr 24, 2001 11:14 PM | | Pink Floyd, Dark Side of the Moon has the deepest bass I have ever heard. I put a candle 2 feet from the loudspeakers' port, and it blew out ! Ok, it was loud.
Otherwise, the soundtrack to 'Waterworld' was pretty cool. |

| "Rollin Tumblin" R.L. Burnside......... | BK May 3, 2001 9:07 AM | | from the cd "Come On In", you MUST hear the low bass in this song, I don't know what the hell they are using to get this type of room shattering low bass, but it literally vibrates throughout my house. Lower than just about anything on dvd that I own, it's quite amazing, and will bring out the absolute most in your sub. Do look for it. |
