Yes, you can play a THX tape on a non-THX certified receiver -- which will sound just as good, if not better than a THX certified receiver. Yes, the film was recorded in plain Jane Dolby Pro-logic surround sound...Lucas just stuck a stamp on the box, nothing more. |
| Please remedy this problem! | Max Apr 25, 2001 11:01 AM | | How can you have a 6.1 digital receiver and not have a DVD player!? You are missing out! I almost want to set up a charity drive to get you a cheap $100 DVD player, so that you can experience the "power of your fully armed and operational" receiver....ha ha. Pro Logic is not even close to dolby digital or DTS. Just buy one and try it out on your system (make sure it has digial outputs). If for any reason you are not completely satisfied, just return it for a full refund....sorry, I just feel like stealing qoutes today. |
