|   Opinions on 'FINDING FORRESTER' with Sean Connery? | Dangling Participle
Apr 26, 2001 7:19 AM | | I liked this film, but not in a way to 'rave' about it. I thought that it was well executed, but it was shot in basically 2 or 3 locations it seemed, making it seem like a 'low budget' production with not much scenery change. The story was nice though, and all in all, this is a good film. Definitely worth a rental, but not to own, unless you are a major Connery fan IMHO. What did you think about it? |

I do agree that it wasn't all that it was cracked up to be I expected more quips and advice from connery similar to pacino and o'donnell in Scent of a woman. |

I may have to see it (hear it) again, but in the scene where connery is riding away on the bike at the end, the music accompanying this scene sounded remarkably like You're So Cool from True Romance. Did anyone else pick up on that? |

Apr 30, 2001 9:08 AM | | it was actually the theme song from terrence malick's "badlands" which hans zimmer borrowed heavily from for "true romance" b/c tarantino wrote T.R. as an homage to Badlands. it appears a few times in the film and i can think of no reason for it to be there. |

I liked the actor Rob Brown...what a great performance for his first movie.
I would like to see him in future films. |
