The first movie I tested on my new set uplogman

The Fifth Element... I finally got my entire system together after almost a year and that's the 1st thing I threw in. I know it's not DTS but the sound is still amazing. And the color on the 36" Sony Wega XBR400 is unbelievable. When I was trying to decide what to watch I thought about Alien or the Matrix but they are all very dark. The costum designs, story, sets, special effects and performances in The 5th Element are all top notch. If you haven't seen this film, you owe it to yourself to check it out. It makes me anxious to see "leon: The Professional" also directed by Luc Besson.

My System:
36" XBR400
Yamaha RX-V596
Sony DVP-C650D 5 disc DVD
Mirage Loudspeakers FRx-Seven
Mirage Loudspeakers FRx-Center
Boston Acoustic 361's Rears (In ceiling, behind seating)
Klipsh KSW10 (sub)
Echcostar dish network DBS
Mitsubishi VCR
All cables monster and AR, all S-vidio except component from DVD

Congrats on completing your sys!! IT's fun, innit??

I'll give the nod to this movie's sound and visuals; but personally, I hated the movie itself.
So what's next?puffum

Might I reccomend U-571? It will put your system to a great test, just warn your neighbors!
