May 2, 2001 10:02 PM | | I rented this movie on the strength of Mel Gibson acting in it. It was BORING!!...and STUPID!!...I watched the first half hour and almost nodded off a couple of times. I knew I wouldn't be able to hack the next 90 minutes, so I forwarded to the last 5 minutes to find out who dunnit.
Then, I was all too eager to remove the DVD and call it a night.
Now I know why I hadn't heard anything about this film before. |

May 3, 2001 1:29 PM | | I thought the cinematography was great, Mel Gibson was in a character that was not of his usual variety and it was just a plain refreshing change from the usual Hollywood meat grinder movie belching machine.
Give it another go when you're not tired or otherwise preoccupied; you might just enjoy the change of pace. |

May 3, 2001 2:54 PM | | This was a rental I returned already, so I'm not able to view it again. I doubt I would think differently watching it again so soon anyways...this one was not my kind of flick I guess.
I wasn't tired or distracted when I started the movie, but it didn't take long to after the first 5 minutes.
A couple of positive points...I liked the opening scene cinematography and music that Bono had a hand in.
Maybe some day in the future if it makes it to TV I'll give it another try. Perhaps I will see your point then
