Jul 15, 2003 4:07 PM | | only reason i've kept cable right now (ok, other then sundance and ifc) is end of august for this football season. and thankfully i think nearly every miami game is gonna be televised! with all the acc move hype, am sure the commentators will be having fun.
now this is gonna be a power football conference, Maryland, FSU, VTech, Miami, Virginia, NCState... but no more rutgers...:( no more temple... :(
and how's Clausen looking? should be fun, florida hosts UT right after getting stomped in the ob, hehehe. will be frank gore's coming out party, if mcgahee ran for 2 bucks on that gator d... ahhh. love trash talking to gators...
can't wait for the preseason top 25 to come out and the heisman hype to start, and the games to begin. just LOVE ncaa football!!!!!

Jul 16, 2003 1:32 PM | | Clausen's supposedly looking good. And now that Kelly Washington is gone, no more primadonnas. Apparently the captains/seniors are pissed with their results. They've (seniors/captains, not the coaches because they can't) required everyone to work out harder than ever all summer long. Clausen has spent an enormous amount of time all summer with his receivers. His brother transferred to UT from LSU.
Tennessee's schedule is tough, and all the hard games are away, except for GA. We play FL, Miami, Bama, and Auburn on the road. I don't see us making it through that gauntlet unscathed.
FL should be primed when they play us. That's a pretty tall order back to back Miami and Tenn. We play Fresno St. and Marshall before FL - neither easy games by any stretch.
Man, I can't wait for the season. I'm ready. I'll see how you and we fair against FL. Then maybe we can resurrect our wager.

Jul 16, 2003 3:04 PM | | just lost out on the new bare naked ladies video (the guy who did u2's beautiful day and madonna's ray of light got it) and also just lost out on shooting an infomercial for the latest hair club invention. infomercials may be dumb, but they pay REALLY REALLY well. so, still working on my own stuff and getting two shorts ready for the festival circuit, post-production takes SO much freakin' time, especially when special effects are involved! ugh. i'll definitely let everyone know when the first short is ready for viewing! |
