it did not meet my expectations from the promos ...

-i was hoping for something along the delightful lines of 'sense and sensibility' or 'shakespeare in love' (same director i think?) but unfortunately it was considerably 'darker' than these (or perhaps just more realistic, some might say, in that there was not a neat, happilyeverafter ending, which is what i
i want
in a movie lol)

it is worth seeing tho, perhaps as a PPV event ... in a nutshell, stephen loved cassandra but she loved simon but he loved rose but she loved neil .... and so the world goes lol
but that was a little too realistic, and i much prefer the escapism of a happy ending for everyone

someone here turned me onto spirited away. i've gotten priness monoke, but haven't seen it because it was "too scary grampa", and castle in the sky. i'm getting kiki's delivery service to watch this week. great movies, altho, without sounding paranoid, there appears to be some jibes at the sterotypical ugly american in his films -- like their shiest don't stink, coppin an attitude like the french. still, i dig the movies.
