| HELP! 1950's Death Penalty movie | IsmaVA Aug 5, 2003 7:11 AM | | just saw The Life of David Gale last night and remembered a movie I saw a long time ago. It is probably from the late 50's (or early 60's).
It is about a reporter who frames himself as a murder to prove that the death penalty system does not work. He and a friend take pictures of every step of the "framing" process so that the pictures could be used at the very last moment to prove his innocence. When his friend is driving to the judge with the "innocence proving pictures" he has a car accident, dies and the pictures are consumed in the fire.
Does anybody remembers the name of this movie? |
