| For the married guys out there..."2 Weeks Notice" | Keith from Canada Aug 26, 2003 9:35 AM | | Every now and again, my wife will insist on going with me to the video store and picking out a movie that "we can both enjoy". Well, that event happened last night and the movie that we could "both enjoy" turned out to be "2 Weeks Notice" (apparently our marriage isn't always a democracy...besides, she's pregnant right now which gives her an extra vote).
Long story short...if you guys out there need to appease the wife and suffer through a 'chick-flick', this isn't a bad one to be subjected too. Hugh Grant is actually quite funny and Sandra Bullock, although she plays her standard role (smart, independent woman in an attractive woman's body) is quite good as well. There may not be explosions or gun-fire but there is also not much over the top cheeze that some of my wife's movies (that we "both enjoy") are prone to having. All in all, not a bad movie for a couple to watch. |

| The Mrs. and I saw it.. I hated it | Cosmo Sep 16, 2003 6:03 AM | | But it was not remotely as bad as 'The sweetest thing' with Cameron Diaz. It can easily be the worst thing I have ever wasted my time upon.
