call me cynical, but 'under the tuscan sun' .... yechhhh!! big on style, but very little substance (beautiful cinematography of the region, lights, colors - tres artisitic) but the plot was at best smarmy and cliched.... was that book perchance on oprahs book club list? this one definitely caters to the ya-ya sisterhood crowd .... i must have looked at my watch a dozen times during the show ... tick tock tick tock .... perhaps it could be categorized as a "Chocolat" wannabe .... but doesnt even come close.... this one can wait till there's nothing else good on tv to watch that night.... |
