|   Why I've been AWOL!!!! | Worf101
Oct 21, 2003 9:11 AM | | Sorry folks. Some of you know I'm a regular here but I've been AWOL, Ooptague, MIA for about a month and a half now for a couple of reasons.
1. I became a "family man". My son Ian and his mum (Ian's 10 years old going on 4) decided that they'd had enough of "existing" in New York City and decided to finally take up my offer to "live" here in upstate New York.
2. This change neccessitated several changes in my heretofore hedonistic, swinging bacheloristic lifestyle. No more surfing ebay for porn, no more monthly poker parties, no more purchases of vintage speakers. Now it's bakes sales, play dates, bike riding and Parent Teacher conferences... yech.
3. I've not seen an "ADULT" film ie "grownup" movie since the little bastich has started cohabitatin with me. I can't stand it. It sucks... I'm going through adult movie withdrawel.
I'm now a shadow (no puns you SOB's) of my former self. I'm in purgatory... help me.

Definitely makes me wonder what it does to your psyche as a kid being exposed to the nyc subways from a toddler on. But there are plenty of "normal" new yorkers i've met... and plenty who walk around half naked wearing tootoos and yelling into shoeboxes...
However.. there is hope for you as Finding Nemo is coming out on dvd soon!
