suggestions please -$300-500 receiver to use as a preampggsteve

I'm looking for a good HT receiver with preamp outputs for all channels to use as a preamp. My budget is $300-500. I have discreet power amps for the main and surround channels. I'll probably use the amp in the receiver for the center channel for the time being. Input sources are DVD, CD changer, hifi VCR, possibly a second VCR if I ever repair my beta machine. Future enhancements might include a Satelite receiver. Thanks in advance.

The last time I looked, the Outlaw 1050 was considerably over $500. I'd be interested to know if the price was lowered.
