|   Suggestions for HDTV/DTV? | Terror
Mar 22, 2001 6:53 PM | | I'm planning on buying my first big TV in a few weeks. I'm looking to spend up to $3,000, and I would like as close to a 61 inch as I can get. I've been looking at the Toshiba 61HX70, but I'm not completely sure it's the one I want yet. I'd like to stay away from the widescreen TV's since I would be using it for watching standard TV as much as DVD movies, and since a 61 inch when put into widescreen mode is the same size picture as about a 56 inch widescreen TV. I'm not planning on buying the HDTV decoder box yet as the price is too high for the amount that I can get on broadcast. I guess I'm just looking for suggestions on what would give me the biggest and best quality picture for my dollars. Any advice you offer is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.... |

I like RCA (had one for the past 11 years), but you must give credit where it is due. Now for the question, go to www.hometheater.com and get all the info on all brands from people that own them and experts |
