Mar 25, 2001 3:05 PM | | I am looking for a very simple (maybe even passive) preamp for 5.1. Not a receiver or integrated amp....I have power amps. I have a reasonable stand-alone Pro-logic decoder for TV broadast & VHS tape with 6 RCA connectors for analog output. I also have a DVD player with internal Dolby Digital/DTS decoding again having 6 RCA outputs. I just want to switch between them and have a volume control. I don't need or want video switching or speaker management. Everything I see is much too complicated (and expensive).
