TV and Receiver Connection?andyjay

Ok...I have a Sony 333ES and I am trying to figure out connections to the TV. I have several units hooked up to the receiver. VCR has RCA inputs, but I also have S-Video inputs. The TV...Toshiba...has a Coax, 3 video inputs...each with RCAs and S-Video, and a component input where the DVD player is fed into. Currently, I have the receiver going monitor out to TV Video One with both RCA and S-Video. With S-Video plugged in, TV can't see the RCA. Is there a setting to change that or do I have to plug the monitor out from receiver into RCA video 1 and S-Video video 2?

Andy,

You will probably have to plug both the monitor out's from the reciever (RCA and S-Video) into the TV's RCA video 1 and S-Video 2 inputs. Most TV's with both RCA and S-Video attached to an input will disable the RCA connection if it detects the S-Video.

Darryl:)
