I called Sony and was told that the new XBR450 will be released this month. They had no other information to offer untill they actually release them to ship.

I heard the new models would be contained in smaller housing units than the current ones, and since I live in a small apt. in NYC saving space is a primary concern. Also, I may wait for the new models to enter the market and hope that the current stock of WEGAs comes down to close-out prices. Thanks for the link. Take care.

May 18, 2001 9:40 AM | | I have seen the 32" - KV32FV27(Speakers on the Side) and 36" - KV36FS13(Speakers on the bottom). The have a nice darker colour more Ash Grey than Silver. But looking at the Menus couldn't really tell any difference between these models and last years. |
