After much research I can't seem to find the answer, so I ask you guys........is the DVDRP-61k free from the chroma "unsampling bug" and will it have a S-Video out?

Thanks!
Robert

Chroma bug free is a yes. It uses the same chip as the RP91 so it will exhibit no chroma bug issues.

S-Video is a Yes as well here is a link:

Robert I know you want a black player JVC has another model that is quite nice, I haven't had a first hand look at it but it looks impressive and is sub 300.00, here is a link:

Thanks Adam, I couldn't find the JVC or the rp-61 in stock, and the rp-91's are VERY hard to find in stock, so I went ahead and ordered the rp-91k (black) from onecall for $510 shipped 2day air. Will ahve Monday along wiht the new iscan pro. I will let you guys know how it all works out after I have a couple of weeks to play with the stuff! I can already tell you that DVD-Audio is with out a doubt the bst sound reproduction I have ever experienced.

More to come later!
Robert
