Jul 6, 2001 8:45 AM | | Has anyone seen the 2001 Panasonic and Toshiba Progressive scan DVD players in action? They're running around $300-$500, all DVD-A compatible and claiming 'pure-progressive' with 3:2 pull down, etc, etc. Have the manufacturers finally reduced their costs on DVD players so much that they can offer genuine P.Scan players at a mass-market price? I was looking at a new Denon or Arcam, but I think I'll just get me a Toshiba or Panasonic PS player with an MSB link for CD.
Any thoughts anyone...?
