Note--the audioshop prices are in Canadian dollars (multiply the price by .65 and you should be close to the US dollar equivalent). Audioshop is offering the Take 5s (not 5.2s) with the 8" sub for under US$500. They also have the Take 5s packaged with a Yamaha receiver at under US$800. As for receivers for the 5.2s, these little suckers can handle just about any quality receiver. My parents have a Sony DB940 paired with them and it sounds great. A friend of mine uses a mid-level Yamaha with them and raves about the performance.
These speakers are quality products and a good value. You certainly won't regret buying them. Good luck. |
