Add-on line doubler?Josh Studrawa

Some TVs have a line doubler built in, making a regular DVD player seem like a progressive scan, correct? Is there an component that can perform this function that I can use with a TV that has no line doubler?

Or am I making things up?

Hi Josh

Here is a link to outside De-interlacer/LineDoubler. But your TV have to progressive-scan capable....I guess you knew that already.

I was thinking that maybe the TV would accept any signal sent it, since they are becoming only monitors. Was hoping that what makes a HDTV, could be bought and added just before the TV input, instead of inside the TV. Oh well, I was just curious. Thanks for the link, Smoke.
