| Are you getting the full warranty? | Josh Studrawa Aug 14, 2001 1:53 PM | | And since $600 = $800 * 80% (20% discount), then I'd with the Demo, provided you get the FULL 2 year warranty that Denon provides new items.
Hell, make him through in an extended warranty as well if you can.
I'm just pissed I paid $500 for the 1801. Least I got me 5 years of fixin. |
| re: Are you getting the full warranty? | gladtrix Aug 14, 2001 2:01 PM | | I'll be sure to ask about the warranty. Thanks for your opinion. So, you're saying that the fact that the New one is New, is not worth $200 extra over the display one? That's great. I'll put the savings into something else. Now lets hope I can seal the deal.

| re: I Must Act Fast! Quick Denon AVR-3801 Inquiry. | ah come on! for heaven sakes!! Aug 14, 2001 1:55 PM | | IS THIS A TRICK QUESTION OR WHAT.....DO I WIN A PRIZE IF ANSWERED CORRECTLY?
IS THAT YOUR FINAL QUESTION? |
| Go for the Demo... | nick4433 Aug 14, 2001 2:05 PM | | If the store is an authorized Denon seller then no matter what, new or demo, you will get the 2 year warranty. Good guys sell a lot of denon demos and open boxes all with full warranty. |

Check out. They have new Denon 3801 for 695. I dont know whether they are authorized dealer or not but you can get a new one for 695 which sounds better then 600-650 demo.
All the best.
