Maybe a stupid question... I have a big screen television. Will it hurt the television in any way to sit the receiver on top(or any other component?

Thanks

Just make sure you have at least 8" of clearance above it for heat dissipation (sp?) purposes.

Receivers do generate a small magnetic field, but with a RPTV, there shouldn't be any magnetic interferance. Make sure the receiver is well ventilated and that the TV does not radiate a lot of heat towards the receiver.

Shouldn't hurt either the tv or the receiver.I have lots of equip piled ontop of my big screen for the last 14 years and no problems.I have a vcr,a 5 disc CD Player,a Cassette Deck,Laser Disc Player,2 Rotel amps and my center channel on top.
