| Receiver placement question | Chris23 Aug 14, 2001 7:06 PM | | Maybe a stupid question... I have a big screen television. Will it hurt the television in any way to sit the receiver on top(or any other component?
Thanks |
| Shouldn't | Bryan Aug 15, 2001 10:45 AM | | Just make sure you have at least 8" of clearance above it for heat dissipation (sp?) purposes. |
| re: Receiver placement question | PhilS Aug 15, 2001 11:55 AM | | Receivers do generate a small magnetic field, but with a RPTV, there shouldn't be any magnetic interferance. Make sure the receiver is well ventilated and that the TV does not radiate a lot of heat towards the receiver. |
