Yet another advice requestrusty_razor

Hi, I'm a college student who loves music, and would like to break into the HT scene.. I have absolutely no budget right now, but I am thinking about upgrades when such a budget develops. :) Here's what I have:
Amp : Yamaha RX-496 (yes, stereo only)
CD : Yamaha CDC-575 (w/ digital out, thank god)
DVD : Yamaha DVD-S796
Mains: Definitive BP-6Bs
Etc : Monster Interconnects, XP spk. wire, etc.

I live in an 8 1/2 x 11 ft room with a bed, desk, chair, sink, dresser, and nightstand, so speaker placement is impossible. I plan on moving within a year's time. I'm looking to upgrade my sys with an amp that will take all-digital inputs (from computer, dvd, cd, and possibly dtv, toslink-style).. considering the mid Yamahas (RX-V596+ all the way to the RX-V1000). Thinking about Paradigm refs or pssbly B&W, PSB mains. I think the Defs will be cool as rear surrounds. I'm especially interested in anyone's experience with the DefTechs and other speakers. I've recently experienced the sound excellence that is B&W, etc. and feel I may have been hasty investing $600 in BP6s. Finally, sub recommendations are appreciated. I was looking at Velodyne CHT-8s. As a final request, I'd love to hear suggestions on the order in which I could pull this off without having a hodgepodge that sounds as such. Thank you for your time!
What do you thinkBryan

Will be your overall budget and when were you planning on making the purchases?

You do not have to worry about having been to hasty with the Def Techs. Since you already have them, I would build your future system with newer Def Techs as the mains and get the matching center.

As for subs, look at ACI, Paradigm, SVS, Adire Audio, and HSU. Those seem to be the best of the bunch right now.
