| PSB 6T, Klipsch RF-3 or JBL S312 Which is the best | jamal Aug 15, 2001 8:01 AM | | |
| Where is Mr. Klipsch? | nick4433 Aug 15, 2001 8:35 AM | | Jamal, I was introduced to the Klipschs by Adam and ever since(1 month) I have become a big fan of Klipsch. I had owned PSBs before but I believe the Klipsch are a perfect mate for my Denon 3801. I have even postponed buying the SVS sub because I like the nice tight bass produced by my RF3s and my Energy ES-10 sub compliments the RF3s pretty well.
Klipsch are very sensitive and will not tax your receiver as much as the other speakers will. I have matched the F3s with an RC3 and the RS3s. |
| Klipsch--easy drive for any amp. very sensitive | rusty zipper Aug 15, 2001 11:13 AM | | I have the F-3's as well. The amp sections barely warm up even at a moderate volume. Aluminum cone drivers being very stiff are one of, if not the best materials used. Don't be fooled, do your research on the guts of speakers and what makes them tick. However, you see what I ended up with. ;-)
Peace, R.Z. |

| PSB's sound better than the others mentioned, higher quality.nt | Keith from Canada Aug 15, 2001 12:06 PM | | Although I don't agree with the 'quality' issue, I do agree that PSB is the better sounding...TO ME! Speakers are very personal and shouldn't be decided on an HT board, they should be decided by the ears of their owner. At least that's my opinion! |
| Totally agree with Keith.... | nick4433 Aug 15, 2001 1:22 PM | | Always trust your ears on these purchases. Also, I wish Billy offers something more than just a one-liner about quality. I have owned PSBs in the past and I feel the Klipsch are very decently built. |

| yeah yeah yeah | Adam Aug 15, 2001 5:19 PM | | it's all personal preference I agree 100%. He should listen to them and decide. We can all talk about our picks but ultimately it is his decision.
My vote is for Klipsch. |
