Nov 29, 2001 10:20 AM | | I am looking for a new HT preamp. I currently own a Marantz AV9000. I want to keep it in the $4K range - max. Although it will be used in a home theater, I am more interested in audio. I have looked/listened to Proceed and Lexicon. I have heard the Lex - DC-2 is very good for video but not audio?? Any ideas or feedback.

Nov 30, 2001 10:31 AM | | I've demoed the AVM20 and PVA7, What a match! You can't go wrong w/that preamp. It has every imaginable setting you could think of, then multiply those by 3 and you've got it. Top of the line IMO for under $5000. |
