First of all, the 800 lines of resolution is meaningless, as no source is capable of this display on a non HD ready set. Toshiba and Samsung just recently introduced there first flat screen 20 inch sets while such makers as Sony are working on their second or third generation units. The Toshiba flat is pretty good but the entire line is plagued by "geometry" problems, and by that I mean on occasion a straight line appears curved on practically all their flat screened sets. I say pony up the extra cash, and grab a KV20FS12 Sony. It has a better picture than the other two and will probably last longer to boot. Don't get the Samsung, as you may regret it when it breaks in six months....

The Toshiba model has been out for quite some time (atleast 6 months) and features S-Video and component inputs. The two 20" Sony models do not feature component inputs, and only one (which costs approx $379 vs the Toshiba's $299) has S-video inputs.

That said, they are both great TVs... but the Toshiba is really a bargain.

no it is not the best. read some reviews on this site and see what people say. the toshiba and the samsung are better. no doubt. cheaper price and many more inputs and outputs.
