DVD audio/video synchronizationDeryk

I just bought my first DVD player...a NAD T550. The player is great, however I have noticed that on several occasions the audio seems to be out of synch with the video. This is especially noticable with lip movements/voices. If I stop the DVD then resume it seems to correct the problem. Is this a limitation of DVDs in general, the NAD T550 in particular, or do I have a problem with my specific machine? Any feedback, insights or personal experience would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I also had this happen once before. When I stopped and restarted it was fine. I personaly beleive that it was a dirty dvd, otherwise I would think that it would happen more often.
