Nov 30, 2001 10:07 AM | | I recently bought a pair of mirage frx5 to go with my onkyo txds595. I have them biwired and was just wondering if anyone here has any experience with these lines of speakers. Just looking for advice on placement. I live in an apartment and I have them in an area that's about 10ft X 12ft. The width is 10ft so I have about 10 ft of space for my 27in tv and the speakers and an audio rack(not bought yet). How far apart should I have them, I only sit about 5-6 ft from the tv and how far from the walls should they be. Also should I toe them in toward the seating position? Any advice on getting optimal performance out of these would be appreciated. Also I have heard different things about break in period and biwiring (some say it matters some say it doesn't) any advice on this would also be appreciated. Thanks |
