Demo Discs with a twistJay1

I have seen a few lists of what everyone uses for their demo discs, however I want a different kind of list. Instead of great sound and picture I also want a list of DVD's that people find both spectacular in sound and picture, but also a high quality storyline. My taste in movies are drama, thriller, (i.e. usual suspects, seven, goodfellas etc). So what do you recommend

I don't know what you consider to be a 'high quality' storyline, but Gladiator is one of my faves for picture and sound (esp. the DTS track). Here's a twist: try the IMAX DVD's. I have found them to have excellent sound. I have The Dream is Alive (have yet to hear bass as gut wrenching as the space shuttle blast off scenes), Blue Planet, and Super Speedway (great race scenes). Also, there are some great concert DVD's as well. My personal fave is Yes-House of Blues. Great sounding DVD.

Thanks for the info. I to really enjoy Gladiator and was looking for movies of similar quality. Thanks again.
