Oct 5, 2001 8:18 AM | | First off let me say thank you for your input, it is appreciated. I am a first-timer seeking a home theater system but I have limited funds (don't hold it against me.lol). I have had a Hitachi 51" for quite some time now and believe it's time to get the most out of it. I started going to retailer sites on the net and pricing the "box" systems and have read some reviews but would like imput from this site too. Question: Is the Pioneer 600 watt HTP 210 system a good one?
Does it compare to the Kenwood HTB404? I was surprised to see the negitive posts on Sony Systems here at this site. Then I see this site has good things to say about the Denon reciever (model 601 I think), priced around 250.00. If this is a good reciever any recomendations for speakers? Once again I am on a limited budget, no more than 700.00. I see many folks spend thousands of dollars on these systems but I unfortunately can not. Regards! |
